Access-A-Ride (AAR) designated stops assist in the secure, safe, and accessible boarding and alighting of AAR customers at a public location. The current list of designated stops is available by borough.
Suggesting new AAR Designated Stop Locations
A potential designated stop location may be identified by many sources including but not limited to AAR customers, AAR staff, community leaders, or management at facilities or venues. Requests for consideration may be submitted through the MTA’s Customer Feedback Portal or by calling AAR’s Comment Line at 877-337-2027. A representative from AAR will follow up.
Suggestions for AAR Designated Stop Locations are reviewed for demand, accessibility, safety, and street impacts by MTA NYCT Departments of Paratransit and Operations Planning and submitted to the New York City Department of Transportation for final review and implementation of signage for approved stops.
