Peak service
Eleven morning and afternoon trains will run between Port Washington and Manhattan. Three of these trains each way will run express between Great Neck and Penn Station, making no stops in the morning, and only stopping at Bayside in the afternoon. Most others will run express between Bayside and Woodside before continuing to either Grand Central or Penn Station.
An additional five morning and nine afternoon local trains will originate at Little Neck or Great Neck and make all stops between Little Neck or Bayside and Manhattan. This means more trains, more often for riders boarding in Queens.
In many cases, riders can transfer between the eastern and western halves of the branch at Bayside. Check the TrainTime app to see if this transfer works for you.
Trains will no longer stop at Mets-Willets Point when there are no special events.
Off-peak service
Two trains per hour will run on the Port Washington Branch during off-peak hours, making all stops. Trains will alternate between Penn Station and Grand Central, providing hourly service to and from each. Those traveling to/from the other terminal can transfer at Woodside.
Midday weekday service at Murray Hill, Broadway, Auburndale, and Plandome has been doubled since trains will no longer skip these stops.
Trains will no longer stop at Mets-Willets Point when there are no special events.
