East of Hudson Service
Thursday, December 23: Metro-North's East of Hudson service will operate its normal weekday schedule. There will be additional early-getaway trains on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines between noon and 4 PM.
Friday, December 24: Metro-North's East of Hudson service will operate on an expanded Saturday schedule, with extra trains running to accommodate holiday travelers.
Saturday, December 25: Metro-North's East of Hudson service will operate on a special schedule with hourly service on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines, and regular Saturday service on branch lines.
West of Hudson Service
Thursday, December 23: Metro-North's West of Hudson service will operate its normal weekday schedule. There will be an additional early-getaway train in the afternoon on the Port Jervis Line, and the 6:14 PM departure from Hoboken (6:04 PM connection from New York Penn Station) does not operate. Pascack Valley Line customers should note that on this day only the connection from New York Penn Station to the 5:32 PM express-train departure from Hoboken and 5:43 PM express-train departure from Secaucus Junction departs New York Penn Station at 5:20 PM instead of the normal 5:25 PM.
Friday, December 24: Metro-North's West of Hudson service will operate on an expanded weekend schedule on the on the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines, with extra trains running on the Port Jervis Line to accommodate holiday travelers.
Saturday, December 25: Metro-North's West of Hudson service on the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Lines will operate on a regular weekend schedule.
Plan Ahead
Buy your tickets in advance and bring a mask. Masks covering your nose and mouth are required on all Metro-North trains, in all stations and at Grand Central Terminal, Hoboken Terminal and New York Penn Station.
