Subway and rail service changes, April 22-25

Here's how planned work will affect how you navigate New York this weekend.
Updated April 22, 2022 11:50 a.m.

Hello, riders! It finally feels like spring has arrived — flowers are blooming, temperatures are going up, and the sun is shining (most of the time, anyway).

If that’s inspired you to get outside this weekend, let us help you plan that trip. Some subway and Long Island Rail Road lines will experience service changes this weekend, and we’re here to help you navigate those.

What to know: In some cases, sections of a subway or rail line are suspended. In others, you may need to take a train in the opposite direction you usually travel or take a shuttle bus to complete your trip.

For more details on how service will be affected across all modes of transit, check out our Planned Work tool and search for your subway, bus, or rail line.

These service changes are subject to change, so check the MTA homepage before heading out; it's where you'll find up-to-the-minute information on subway, bus, and rail service.
