About bridge and tunnel tolls
Toll rates depend on the bridge or tunnel, the type of vehicle, and other factors. For example, vehicles entering the Congestion Relief Zone (Manhattan below and including 60th Street) will be charged a toll starting June 30, 2024.
All MTA crossings use cashless or “open-road” tolling and accept E-ZPass. Without an E-ZPass account, the registered owner of a vehicle will receive a bill for the toll amount in the mail. E-ZPass rates are generally lower than paying the toll by mail.
