Partial Suspensions Along New Haven and Harlem Lines in the Bronx
Service to Yankee Stadium on New Haven and Harlem Lines Will Not Operate to Saturday Game

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Metro-North Railroad is advising customers of split service on the New Haven and Harlem lines due to urgently needed New York State Department of Transportation repairs to a Bronx River Parkway overpass above tracks, impacting the safety of train traffic through the area. Customers are advised to seek alternative means of travel at least through early afternoon Saturday or take Hudson line which continues to operate on a regular schedule. Free parking is available at the following Hudson Line stations: Poughkeepsie, New Hamburg, Beacon, Garrison, Cold Spring, Ossining, Irvington, and Riverdale
Yankee Clipper service to Saturday afternoon’s game vs. the Kansas City Royals has been suspended on the New Haven and Harlem lines (will operate normally on Hudson line).
New Haven Line: Partial Suspension
• Service is suspended between Williams Bridge and Mt. Vernon East.
• Limited hourly service on the New Haven line.
• The last stop on westbound trains from New Haven and Stamford is Mt. Vernon East.
• Trains from Grand Central will make a final stop at Williams Bridge.
Limited bus service between Mount Vernon East and Wakefield-241 Station will be provided.
Harlem Line: Partial Suspension
• Service is suspended between Williams Bridge and Wakefield
• Limited hourly service on the Harlem line.
• The last stop on southbound trains is Wakefield.
• The last stop on northbound trains is Williams Bridge.
New York City Transit (NYCT) subway service is cross honoring Metro-North tickets. Customers traveling to and from the city are advised to take trains to and from Wakefield-241 St station, which is approximately six blocks from the Metro-North Wakefield station, to connect with Metro-North service when traveling in and out of New York City.
Service will resume when DOT crews are able to stabilize the overpass, allowing trains to safely operate on the tracks below.
