The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will hold monthly meetings of the MTA Board and the Board’s committees on Monday, Jan. 30. Beginning at 8:30 a.m., MTA Chair Janno Lieber will convene a joint meeting of the Finance, Capital Program, Bridges & Tunnels, Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad, and New York City Transit Committees, followed by the MTA Board Meeting at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The public will have an opportunity to provide comments on Authority business, for up to 60 minutes at the start of the joint Committee meeting and again during the Board meeting, either in person at the MTA’s 2 Broadway headquarters or via Zoom from a remote location. Speakers will be allotted up to two minutes each at both meetings.
Public speakers will continue to register on the day of the meeting. Any additional speakers who cannot be accommodated within 60 minutes will have the opportunity to provide recorded comments that will be sent to members of the board and posted online.
