New process during the coronavirus pandemic
We have been processing lost items on a case-by-case basis since our office closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Starting Monday, July 6, we will let you know if we’ve found your lost item. At that point, you’ll be able to make an appointment to retrieve it. You can only make an appointment if we’ve contacted you first.
If you have a found item to return, please call 511 to schedule an appointment.
How the process works:
- File a claim for your lost item online or via phone.
- Wait for us to contact you.
- After we contact you, you can make an appointment online to pick up your item in person. If you need help setting up an appointment, call 511.
